General Repair or Maintenance

General home repairs or maintenance are typical home maintenance or repairs which the homeowner cannot perform and cannot afford to hire professionals.  These situations will frequently result from normal wear and tear on the home and the homeowner’s illness or infirmity.  Examples are:


  • Repairs to flooring and subflooring
  • Repairs to doors and trim work
  • Wall repairs
  • Non-critical plumbing and electrical:  non-working faucet or fixture upgrades, replacing electrical receptacles and upgrading to GFIs
  • Non-leaking roofing repairs and replacements

  • Yard work, cleaning gutters, changing HVAC filters
  • Non-mobility related home modifications
